How long will my order take?

For Digital Orders, your turnaround time will depend on the shipping method selected at checkout.
 
Here are the options:
Standard: Standard production + Ground Shipping (Arrives in 5-10 business days)
Faster: Priority production + 2nd Day Air (Arrives in 3 business days)
Fastest: Priority production + Next Day Air (Arrives in 2 business days)
 
For Physical Orders, please allow 1-2 weeks once we begin working on your artwork.

What’s the status of my order?

You can view the status of your order from your account page at any time.
 
Digital Upload orders will receive a delivery timeline immediately after purchasing.
 
Physical Item orders will receive a delivery timeline once your art is fully received by our factory team.

What if I need to change my order?

If your frame hasn't shipped yet, you still have time to edit almost anything about your order including:

  • Gift Note

  • Layout
 
A member of our team will need to make any adjustments. Just give us a shout and we’ll make it happen!
 
As a heads up, applying any of these changes may increase the turnaround time for you to receive your finished frames.

What if I’m unhappy with my order?

Your happiness is our top priority, and we're proud to offer a Happiness Guarantee. If you’re not 100% happy with your order for any reason let us know and we’ll make it right.

Sizing & Pricing

How do I measure my piece?

Measure the length and width of your piece to the nearest whole inch. Please round up to ensure the packaging we send is the appropriate size.
 
If your art is currently matted and you want us to frame your art with its current mat, please only measure the art itself. After you place your order, please send us an email to support@framebridge.mom with the total size of the matted art and we will send appropriately sized packaging if needed.
 
Once your piece arrives in our factory, our team of experts will precisely measure its exact dimensions and build your custom frame.
 
Pro Tip: If you don't have a tape measure handy, a standard sheet of 8.5" x 11" paper is a very helpful tool to approximate size.

How much will it cost to frame my piece?

Our pricing is determined by the type and size range of your unframed artwork. Frames from our American Hardwoods, Archive Collection, British Country Collection, Josh Young Collection and Farrow & Ball Collection are priced slightly higher than others due to their premium craftsmanship.

Mailing Your Art

How do I mail you my art?

We provide secure packaging to make it easy to mail us your art. This service is included in the $10 mail-in fee, which is automatically added to your order when you choose packaging or a shipping label to send your art.
 
Choose Your Packaging:
  • You’re welcome to use your own packaging—we’ll provide a prepaid shipping label.
  • If you’d prefer, we can send you secure packaging (a tube or flat mailer) along with a prepaid shipping label. For every four pieces in your order, we automatically include one tube or flat mailer.

Shipping Partner:
  • We partner exclusively with UPS for shipping artwork to our studio. Once your piece is securely packaged, simply drop it off at your nearest UPS drop-off location.
 

Where’s my packaging?

Your packaging ships shortly after you place your order and will arrive in 2-6 business days, depending on your location. We ship packaging via UPS, and you can find a tracking number for the shipment in your original Order Confirmation email.
 
If your packaging is missing and hasn’t been received after 6 business days, please fill out this request form. We will get new packaging out to you ASAP.

How do I request new packaging?

Need new packaging? No problem!
 
Simply fill out this form, and our Support team will send you a replacement. This is included in the $10 mail-in fee. We'll follow up to ensure you have everything you need to safely send in your artwork.

Is my art insured?

The safety and security of your art is our top priority, and we're proud to offer comprehensive insurance.
 
In the unlikely event that your art is lost/missing or damaged, our team will make every effort to replace it.
 
If replacement is not possible, we will reimburse you for the value of the piece. A proof of value or an appraisal and proof of purchase or ownership is required in this case.

What should I do with my Certificate of Authenticity (COA)?

We know how important the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for your art is, and we want to make sure that this important document stays with you at all times. Please only send us the artwork that will be framed.
 
We can create a pocket on the back of your frame so you can safely store the certificate with the art in the future. If you would like to add a pocket to your frame, please add a note requesting this pocket to your "Special Instructions" in your Shopping Cart and we will be happy to create that for you.
 
When you receive your frame, simply insert the COA into the pocket and you'll always know where it is!

Can I frame my artwork at home instead of sending it to Framebridge?

At Framebridge, we take pride in offering full-service custom framing. Each frame is carefully custom cut and assembled to fit your artwork perfectly.
 
Because our frames are designed specifically for each piece, we do not offer frames that allow you to change out your photos or artwork over time. Our frames are expertly crafted and sealed on both the front and back to ensure your artwork is fully protected and preserved for years to come.
 
Since every frame is tailored to your artwork, we require the piece to be sent to us so we can create a frame that’s a perfect fit. Unfortunately, this means we’re unable to send out individual frame components separately.

Photo Printing & Digital Uploads

What kind of files can I upload to print & frame?

You can upload a .JPG, .GIF, .HEIC, or .PNG file, and we’ll take care of printing and framing it for you. Please ensure the longest side of your image is under 12,000 pixels and that the file size is no larger than 50MB. For the best print quality, our website requires images to be at least 150 dpi (dots per inch).
 
If your artwork or images are in a PDF format and you need to convert them to JPG or PNG, we’ve got an easy solution for you!

2. Follow the Easy Steps: This tool walks you through the process, and in just a few clicks, you’ll have your image ready to go.

What size can I print my photo?

To ensure the best print quality, we require image files to have a resolution of at least 150 DPI—this keeps your print crisp and clear. Our site automatically calculates the largest size your photo can be printed at this resolution (pretty smart, right? 😉). The higher the resolution, the larger we can print. Just a heads up, we can print up to 32" x 40" online and 40" x 60" in-store.
 
If you'd like a larger print than what you're seeing, you’ll need to upload a higher-resolution version of your image. Unfortunately, increasing resolution after the fact isn’t possible, so we recommend using the original file or one taken directly from your camera.

How will you print my file?

We print on Epson Premium Lustre or Enhanced Matte paper using archival inks., and our printers use RGB color mode and Adobe sRGB color space. We require a minimum image resolution of 150 DPI at the printing size to ensure the highest quality in the finished print.
 
If you’d prefer we print your image on matte paper, please note that request in the “Special Instructions” field in your cart during checkout.

Can I change my photo in the future?

Since every frame we build is custom-made to exact specifications and sealed with a protective kraft paper backing, you will not be able to swap/replace images or artwork over time. We do this to ensure your art and photo are safe and protected for years to come.
 
If you are interested in the flexibility to change a digital photo, our Tabletop Frames is well-suited to replace your image after time.

Can I send a gift with Framebridge?

Absolutely! There’s nothing more thoughtful and personal than a custom-framed gift.
 
You can add a personalized gift note to any order in your cart during checkout, and we’ll ship your order directly to the recipient. To ensure a delightful unboxing experience for your gift recipient, we never include pricing information in the box.

Do you offer gift wrap or gift packaging?

If you’re looking for a beautifully packaged, ready-to-gift frame, we recommend choosing from this collection of frames from our Gift Shop. Each arrives in its own gift box!
 
You can always add a personalized gift note to any order in your cart during checkout, or for select frames, an engraved Brass Plate or Story Pocket.

How can I personalize my gift?

In addition to gift notes and boxes, you can further personalize your frame with our engraved Brass Plates and Story Pockets.
 
Brass Plates are engraved with your own custom text (up to two lines, 25 characters per line). They offer an added special touch to your overall design and are perfect for displaying dates, names or short phrases. They are available only on select frames for an additional charge of $25.
 
Story Pockets are printed messages (up to 650 characters) that are tucked into a secret envelope on the back of your frame. They are wonderful for recording personal stories, memories, jokes and can also be used to stash receipts or certificates. They are available for an additional charge of $5.
 
Many of our Gift Shop frames come with Brass Plates or Story Pockets at no extra cost!

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes! Physical & Digital Gift Cards can be purchased here. 
 
Please note, that because gift cards represent a cash-for-cash value, promo or discount codes cannot be applied toward the purchase of Gift Cards. All Gift Card purchases are final and cannot be refunded.

If none of the suggestions quite hit the mark, no worries – just send us an email with your thoughts, and we’ll send over more options until you’re 100% happy.

When will I receive my Designer’s Choice recommendations?

For digital uploads, you’ll receive recommendations within 48 hours of placing your order.

Shipping & Returns

Do you ship internationally?

Right now we ship to the continental US, plus Hawaii and Alaska. We don’t ship internationally. Yet!
 
We hope to begin shipping to Canada in the future. Click here to share your email address, and you’ll be the first to know as soon as we launch Canadian shipping.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes, we offer expedited shipping exclusively for Digital Uploads. You can select this option during checkout.
 

Can I ship art directly from the art seller to Framebridge?

Yes! Here’s how:
 
  1. Place your Framebridge order before purchasing your artwork.
  2. During checkout, add a note in the “Special Instructions” stating that your artwork will be shipped directly from the artist.
  3. In the packaging section, select "Just a label, please!"
  4. Order your artwork. If possible, ask the seller to use your Framebridge shipping label. If they are unable to, please provide the following instructions:
  • The artist or seller must include your Framebridge Order Number (which begins with “M”) in the shipping address to ensure proper matching upon arrival.

How can I return, reframe or exchange my order?

We’re proud to stand behind our Happiness Guarantee. If you’re not 100% happy with your order for any reason, let us know and we’ll make it right.
 
To get started, please contact us with your order number and include as much detail as possible (including pictures if you can), so our team can get your replacement taken care of quickly and correct any errors or mistakes.
 
For Digital Uploads, we’ll send you a new frame in days.
 
For Physical Item orders, we suggest holding onto the packaging your original order came with, so you can quickly ship the piece back to us (we’ll send you a return label). If you’ve thrown away the packaging, no worries! We can send you a new box.

Can I have my order sent to multiple addresses?

We do not currently support the ability to ship frames within one order to multiple unique addresses.
 
In order to ship to different addresses, you must place a different order for each address.
 
If you’ve already placed an order, get in touch with a member of our team with the address details and we’ll do our best to help.

Do you require signatures for delivery?

We do not currently require signatures on delivery. Signatures are left to the discretion of the UPS driver.

“Can you frame X?” Our customers are always asking what creative things we can Framebridge for them. The truth is you can Framebridge most things up to 32" x 40" and 1 1/2" thick. This means canvases, 3-D objects (great for float mounting), newspapers, magazines, diplomas, scarves and more. Can I frame multiple digital images in the same frame?

Yes! We can absolutely frame multiple digital images in one frame.

Can I frame a scarf?

Yes! We can frame square scarves up to 27.5” x 27.5" square or rectangular scarves up to 32" x 40". To prepare for your scarf, we first steam it and then lightly sew it to the top of a mat to look perfect.

How do you recommend I hang my art?

We make it easy to hang and enjoy your framed art! All our frames come with appropriately-sized hanging hardware and everything you need to easily display your frame.

Do you offer frames that stand?

Yes! We have a beautifully curated collection of Table Top frames. You may view them here!
 
We also sell frame stands for our Extra Small size frames. These cost $15 and can be added to your order when you are in your Shopping Cart.
 
 

How do I clean and care for my piece?

We recommend a dry microfiber cloth or soft cloth towel to clean your framed art. If you’d like to use a cleaning solution, we recommend water with a drop or two of dish soap. Avoid using any cleaners that contain bleach to prevent damage or discoloration to your frame.
 
It is important never to use ammonia or abrasive cleaners on your acrylic glazing to keep from scratching the acrylic. We recommend simply using a soft cloth here too.
 

How do I request additional hardware?

Reach out to us and we will ship you any additional hardware you may need for free (typically ships within 1-3 business days).

Can I order a frame with a removable back?

All of our frames come sealed with a custom, kraft paper backing to protect your art from dust and moisture. The backs are not constructed to be removable so that we can guarantee the protection and longevity of your art for years to come.

When ordering multiple frames, how do I ensure that they will all be the same size?

If you want your frames to be exactly the same size, you can specify your ideal size in the “Special Instructions” field in your cart at checkout, and we'll ensure a uniform final frame size for all. If you do not have a specific size in mind, you can leave a Special Instruction that just requests that the final frame sizes match.

We accept all major US credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, and Discover) as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay & Shop Pay.
 

How do I redeem and apply my gift card balance?

Unlock the joy of shopping with our Gift Cards, effortlessly redeemable at checkout! Just enter your Gift Card code, and the balance will be applied until it's fully used.
 
If you're using a physical Gift Card, be sure to remove any dashes (-) between the numbers and letters when entering your code for a smooth redemption experience.
 

How do I redeem my Zola Gift Card?

We’re thrilled to partner with Zola to offer custom framing credit as a registry gift!
 
Here’s how to redeem your Zola Gift Card:
  • Browse our site and select the items you’d like to frame.
  • When you’re ready to checkout, apply your gift card code (starting with either a G or Z) in the Discount Code or Gift Card box. This box can found on the right side during checkout.
  • Any remaining balance will remain on your Gift Card.

Can I split payment with two different cards?

We do not currently offer a way to split payments across multiple credit cards/payment types.

Does Framebridge offer tax exemption?

Yes. While we currently do not have functionality to automatically recognize tax-exempt accounts, we will review and process eligible tax refunds accordingly.
